How to use Foils
- Make sure the nails are clean or you have applied nail varnish first and allowed
to dry. (It’s best to apply varnish to smooth out any ridges that might be in the
nails).
- It’s always worth applying a similar coloured varnish and allowing to dry before
applying adhesive so if any little bits off foil haven’t rubbed off onto the nail
it won’t show.
- Lightly apply the foil adhesive covering the whole nail Wait for it to go clear
(about 2 mins - ish) - do not knock the nails as the adhesive will come off, same
as wet varnish.
- Apply the foil - design side up (if it slides about the adhesive isn’t ready -
it should stick straightaway - this is probably the area that is causing the issue).
- Rub the foil onto the nail and peel off the backing - try not to get any creases
in the foil when applying.
- Seal with top coat.
If you are still struggling - To begin with try just covering the tips in foil, like
in a French manicure as this is easier to start with if applying on yourself.
How to use Nail Wraps
- Push back cuticles, buff out ridges and remove shine from nail
- Clean nail with nail varnish remover
- select closest sized wrap to fit nail, wrap may need to be trimmed to size
- Peel off backing and carefully apply to nail, curved edge towards cuticle
- Gently heat for a few seconds (using a hairdryer) to activate adhesive
- Press wrap firmly onto nail, avoiding creases and making sure the edges are pressed
down well
- File off excess length in a downward motion
- Seal free edge with top coat or nail glue to avoid lifting
To Remove
- Gently heat wrap and peel off
- Remove any residue with nail varnish remover
How to apply Fimo
- Fimo slices should be encased into gel or acylic.
They are not suitable for use on natural nails due to their thickness.
Using Stencils
- Pace the nail stencil on your nail
- Varnish over the stencil covering the design.
- Gently pull back the sticky nail stencil to reveal the finished design!
Applying Striping Tape
- Paint nail and allow to dry.
- Unroll some of the striping or design tape., Try not to touch the adhesive backing
- Apply to nail where required and press down firmly.
- Cut close to nail edge using cuticle nippers or small nail scissors.
- Seal with top coat
How to use Paints
- To use the paints with the striping brushes dip the brush into the paint and quickly
flick over the nail to create a stripe/flick.
- To use with the dotting tool, just dip into the paint and dab onto the nail to
create your design. The ends of the dotting tool are different sizes to create different
sized dots.
- These paints are water based and can be wiped off the nail using just damp cotton
wool so if you go wrong DO NOT PANIC!!- there is no need to paint the whole nail
with varnish again!
- The paints may need shaking / stirring to ensure a smooth colour.
- If the paints dry up - add a few drops of water and mix
- You can mix the paints to create even more colours!
How to use Glitter Dust
- Put folded piece of paper underneath the nails to catch any excess glitter.
- Apply top coat and whilst still damp sprinkle on the glitter
- Brush off excess glitter using a blusher brush or similar once the top coat has
dried.
- Apply a layer of top coat to seal.

- Mix with acrylic power if wanting to embed into acrylic nails
- Apply gel to the brush, dip into the glitter and apply to nail.

- Seal with top coat
