Applying Gems / Flat Shapes / Studs / Bullion

Products Required:
Gems
Picker Upper
Carousel
Nail Varnishes & Top Coat

How To:
Varnish nails and allow to dry.
Apply top coat and position gems whilst top coat is still damp.
Allow to dry and apply a layer of top coat over the whole nail to seal the gems in.
Applying Stickers / Jewel Stickers / Fun Stickers

Products Required:
Stickers
Nail Varnishes & Top Coat

How To:
Paint nail and allow to dry.  Peel off sticker, and place onto nail where desired.  For delicate stickers use tweezers to remove off backing paper and apply to nail.  Seal with top coat.
Applying Striping Tape / Design Tape

Striping Tape
Nail Varnishes & Top Coat

How To:
Paint nail and allow to dry.  Unroll some of the striping or design  tape.  Apply to nail where required and press down firmly.  Cut close to nail edge using cuticle nippers or small nail scissors.  Seal with top coat.
Appling Paint Using Dotting Tool / Striping Brushes

Products Required:
Striping Brush (available in set of 3)
Dotting Tool
Paints
Nail varnishes & top coat

How to:
To use the striping brushes dip into the paint and quickly flick over the nail to create a stripe.
If you go wrong DO NOT PANIC!!  These paints are waterbased and can be wiped off the nail using just damp cotton wool - there is no need to paint the whole nail with varnish again!
The ends of the dotting tool are different sizes to create different sized dots.
Applying Dried Flowers

Products Required:
Dried Flowers
Round gems
Nail varnishes & top coat

How to:
Paint nail and allow varnish to dry.  Apply top coat and whilst damp position flowers and gems.  Apply another layer of top coat to seal.

Alternatively encase in gel or acylic.
Applying Foil

Products Required:
Foils
Foil Adhesive
Nail block
top coat

How to:
Apply a thin layer of foil adhesive where design is required, and wait until it turns clear.
For best results slightly buff the nail and wipe with acetone to remove any grease and dust, therefore ensuring nail is totally clean and dry.
With the foil design facing upwards, place onto the nail and rub design on (can do this with a cotton bud).You will see that it starts to stick to the nail and that a clear backing separates.

Seal with top coat.
