FAQ | Sparkly Nails | Nail Art Supplies


Before repeatedly hitting your head against the wall in utter frustration, have a scroll below and see if we can save you a headache. We have tried to answer the most common or perplexing questions below, but for anything that is not included, please ask your question via the Contact Us page. Questions will be dealt with as soon as possible.  

How do I order?

By Debit / Credit Cards: via our safe and secure ordering system 

By PayPal: click on the PayPal logo in the cart for a quick way to pay using PayPal - Be careful of your address details as paypal will override what you enter to use the address on their system!
By Cheque / Postal Order: payable to Sparkly Nails, Send to 3 The Tors, Kingskerswell, Devon TQ12 5DR.  Please enclose your order requirements when sending and include P&P where applicable.  Orders will not be dispatched until payment has cleared
By Telephone: Please complete the checkout fields and click on the pay by telephone tab at the bottom of the screen, we will then be able to see your order, and take your card details over the phone. Call 01803 394075.  If no answer please leave a message and we will return your call.

I have entered incorrect delivery details
Call us immediately (during working hours) on 01803 394075 to let us know and leave a message if there is no answer!  We cannot accept emails as a method of contact for these types of queries due to the very quick dispatch times we operate on. We cannot change orders or addresses once items have left our premises.
We will not be held responsible for problems caused by inaccurate delivery information supplied to us. 

Incorrect items sent / Items missing
Please check your order once delivered in case of discrepancies. Please notify us of any issues within one week of despatch, as any discrepancies will not be rectified after this.

Items broken
We try and wrap up all breakable items carefully and all orders are sent in padded envelopes but occasionally accidents happen. Please send us a photo of the package and which items have been damaged so we can resend or refund.

Receipts / Invoices
Invoices are not sent out with orders.  Invoices and confirmation emails are sent via email but should you require an invoice then we can email this over to you.  VAT is not charged on our products as we are not VAT registered.

Missing Orders
In the event of missing items, we can only send out missing orders after two weeks of date of postage (UK) / after 25 days (rest of the world), and upon receipt of an email stating the missing order and confirmation of the address. This is due to Royal Mails policies on lost post.

Cancellations & Returns

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days after receipt of the goods. In the event that you wish to return an item, you must inform the company by email (sales@sparkly-nails.co.uk). From receipt, you have 7 days to let us know by email sales@sparkly-nails.co.uk that you intend to return your items to us in a new and unused condition. You are responsible for returning the item to us at your expense. Please ensure to take reasonable care of the goods so that they arrive with us in the same condition as they were delivered. Please enclose your name and order number.  Returns will be processed within 30 days. The company reserves the right to take action to claim any charges necessary for the repair or cleaning of any goods returned not in the same condition as upon delivery. We will not refund any obviously damaged or dirty goods.  Any refunds or returns made on promotional items will be given at the rate of the discounted product.

Do you have a loyalty program?

Register for an account with us and every time you shop at Sparkly Nails you will automatically earn loyalty points ( 2 points for every £ spent*), which can be redeemed for gift voucher codes to use on our site.

We will occasionally have double points, product offers etc too so make sure you add us on facebook and twitter!  Loyalty points per product can be seen on their individual product pages.  

*some items excluded from the offer.  Points given on price of individual products - does not include pence.

Do you offer student discount? 

Please sign up for an account online and then email us confirmation that you're a student studying beauty/nails.  We will then upgrade your account to a student account.(UK only)
Student accounts will receive 10% off orders automatically subject to min spend.
Student accounts will run each academic year.  After this time you may need to reapply.

Do you send samples / info for bloggers
We regret that we do not send samples out.  Our prices are around £1.50 a product so not expensive if you needed to try any of our products out.  If you are a blogger then we do have a bloggers scheme...please email us for further information.

Do you have an affiliate program?

Do you have a printed catalogue for mailing?
No. Our entire catalogue is online here at Sparkly-Nails.co.uk.  We have new products in every few months so it is not viable to produce a printed catalogue. 

Do you have a shop I  can visit? 
We regret that Sparkly Nails' premises are not open to the public. Our shop is only available online. 

Why did my order arrive in a used box?
We at Sparkly Nails being concerned about the environment, reuse and recycle as much material as possible...and we are from Devon after all!

I ordered a kit and expected it to be boxed
The kits that come in a box / bag are stated, the ones that don't state that they are not boxed. We try to keep packaging as simple as possible to reduce any waste. We are very conscientious about the environment and try our hardest to keep packaging and waste minimal.
